Battle Wounds

IMG_1179IMG_1175IMG_1173IMG_1176

Shirt: Polo Ralph Lauren, Pants: Target, Scarf: Gift, Belt: Thrifted, Shoes: Steve Madden, Bag: Burbery, Watch: Gift/Movado, Jewelry: F21, T and Co., Guess, Thrifted, Shades: F21

I had a bad bout with a pair of heels on Tuesday. Everything was going really grand until I took an unexpected turn on some uneven pavement while trying to get in my car. Have you seen the episode of Sex and the City where Carrie falls on the runway? I imagine the whole deal looked a bit like that. Only 20,000 times less glamorous and without Heidi Klum. And I wasn't modeling underwear {thank goodness}. But other than that, it was exactly the same. And then I picked my poor, bloody self up off the pavement and drove home, where Dusty scrubbed away the dirt. A most painful experience. I haven't felt so much like I was five since, well, last week really, but nonetheless, it was very unpleasant. I'll spare you the pictures for the sake of keeping this post PG. Needless to say, I'm wearing my safe heels today {I code them by height. Safe, a little riskkaay, and walking on the wild side. In this case, falling on the wild side.} Also, if any of you have a good suggestion for a better story to explain my booboos, please do tell. Otherwise, I'll be wearing pants and sleeves until my scratched-up, scraped-up self heals in order to avoid repeating this sad little story to anyone else. Thanks in advance.

Love,

Ramsey

Oh, and don't forget, today is the very last day to enter the Jess LC Giveaway. I'll be drawing a winner soon, so scurry your bums over to that post and leave me a sweet nothing. K?

LOVE the color combos of this look and the accessories are to die for! Love, love!

Hope you are feeling better soon... I continually fall on stairs (my own stairs, specifically!) so you are in good, albeit klutzy, company!

awww your story is so cute! I hope your boo boo feels better, but I do know something that makes your boo-boo feel better: TYLENOL. There is pre-school kid who insistes she wants tylenol to get her boo-boo fixed. Your story reminded me of that.

Anywhooooo, love the cargo pants with leopard! I think leopard scarf is an awesome touch to the outfit.

OH no you poor girl! Well I don't have a fantastic falling story except there was an entire week in the 8th grade where I tripped and tore my jeans and scraped my knees EVERYDAY (and I was the new girl in town) It was horrible :-(

Ouch :-( hope you feel better!!

aww that stinks that you fell! it's especially dumb when you're wearing those high high heels and you just feel like such a dork for not being able to walk in them. glad you're alright. just say your battle wounds are from rescuing a puppy from an oncoming truck or something. then you'll get hero points too.

Ramsey girl...could you be any cuter? Love this outfit! Great color combo and great accessories! Sorry about your fall! I am super clumsey. I took a real nasty fall a few years ago down a flight (or two) of stairs...not pretty.

Sorry to hear about your incident. That is exactly why I don't sport really high heels. I'm so clumsy, I'd kill myself :)

I love the green combo! How do you get your hair to bump like it does?? Mine will never do such cuteness. I say never let the height of heels scare you..heels are my best friend!
