Yup, so not much to say about these except for I'll probably be whining about exams for the next few weeks. Because they are fast approaching and these books have become both my lifelines and my personal nightmares all at once.

Today was a misty, gloomy sort of a day. Perfect for hot cocoa and fires in fireplaces. And marshmallows. Those make everything lovely. I kind of like weather like this in some strange little way. It makes me want to bake something. I'm going with pumpkin muffins. Mostly because I found a recipe on Pinterest (aka: the devil) that only includes a box of cake mix and a 15 oz can of pumpkin. I'm having a hard time believing it'll work, but I'll let you know if I'm converted into a believer. Next up, a can of sweetened condensed milk covered in water in a crock pot overnight (8 hours) makes caramel. This whole Pinterest deal seems to be introducing me to the world of cooking magic. You can call me Houdini.

Love,

Ramsey

Although I have to agree with you, I never cook and I always seem to be book marking recipes now. : )

Btw, you look fabulous as always!!!

Just so you know, the cake mix with the can of pumpkin? It TOTALLY works. However, it does not rise much so smooth the top with a spoon or it will look clumpy. I made them into cupcakes and did a batch with chocolate chips. SO GOOD.
It also works well with brownie mix and canned pumpkin.

The pumpkin and cake mix actually works! The only problem is it’s super addicting. Just so you know.
I’ve never heard of sweetened condensed milk turning into caramel.

Oh my gosh. Pinterest is the anti-school. Or at least anti-productivity. But at the same time, you're learning things, so its not actually worthless, right?
Good luck studying!! You're blog is my break from studying slash doing problems for analytical chemistry. Ok, ok, you and pinterest are my study breaks... but who's keeping track of time scrolling...?

Anywho, thank you! I love the blog.

The sweetened condensed milk boiled in water thing definitely works. I was non-believer to until a couple weeks ago when I made this http://www.brooklynlimestone.com/2010/08/recipe-banoffee-danger-pie.html
Make it. You will love me forever. And you don't even know me! :)

Pinterest as a devil? Now that's something I can definitely back up 100%!

Good luck with all the exams, they are such a pain in the bum (literally, I've been studying non-stop for the past two weeks, my bottom is crying for me to give it a break!)
