I'm practically superwoman here...

IMG_1656IMG_1658

Shirt and Pants: Gap, Bracelet: Premier, Belt: thrifted, Shoes: Target

So, Blogger was doing some updating and such last night, I suppose, and I couldn't post this. Buuuut I do have an outfit, a tip, and a recipe for you little darlings. So you can practically call me a superhero. I'm taking name suggestions at the end of the post. Now then.

Outfit: Check.

Tip: The other morning I was too sleepy/lazy to wash my hair because it involves not only a wash job, but a blowdry and products and a curling iron and the whole bit just takes forevaaa. And in the back of my mind{space} I remembered reading somewhere something along the lines of using baby powder to freshen your hair and give it non-greasy volume. And wha-da-ya-know, it works folks! So, next time you have laziness/greasy hair issues, you can thank me. Preferably with chocolate chip cookies. Check.

Recipe: Well #1 isn't really a recipe but I have been loooving tuna salad as of recent. Mostly because I have been trying to eat healthier and this stuff is suuuper low fat. And easy. And yum.

#2: Flatbreads. I grilled up two chicken breasts in my grill pan and sliced them into chunks. You can basically pitch in whatever suits your little fancy on these, but I put sliced tomato, sauteed onion and zucchini, mozzarella and baby spinach. And then roasted them under the broiler until bubbly. Check.

Ok guys, I've kinda outdone myself today. Love to ya darlings!

Love,
Ramsey

I do the babypowder thing too sometimes!!! I've discovered that of you use an old powder brush it works much better than just dumping the babypowder directly on your head. Or does everyone already know that and I'm just a dork? lol

1. Love the safari look of your outfit. That top is gorgeous.

2. How do you keep your hair from turning white with all the powder? I guess the real question is how much baby powder?

Haha, well done :-D And your outfit looks great, too! The baby powder trick is said to work with corn starch too, but I have tried neither. I expect myself to make a mess if I haven't got that stuff in a spray can ;-) But it does come in handy every now and then.

I haven't used baby powder, but I do have some Suave Dry Shampoo. It works great.

I still need to get some dry shampoo for this lazy girl here. Super yummy sandwich there. Need to get some lunch now, your post made me so hungry :) Might have to try that recipe this very moment!!

You are SO gorgeous!! And I love your outfit!

I do the baby powder thing more often than I should admit! They have a dry shampoo that does the exact same thing as baby powder, except you don't have to worry about turning your roots white :)

That outfit is perfection!!!!!!! How do you stay so thin?!?!?!

I've used baby powder but sometimes it makes my hair look all gray and faded at the roots so I usually just stick to dry shampoo since its less noticeable. oh also...please come cook at my house because we both know that's I won't be doing it any time soon:)

I was considering buying some dry shampoo, but I'm willing to try baby powder first- thanks for the tip!

And I LOVE that safari look- so fresh and classic!

I love this outfit! And absolutely agree on the baby-powder thing. I normally use dry-shampoo - much the same thing, just in a spray can ;) and I am pretty sure it's the worlds greatest invention!

Loving your blog. Following now :)

I love the baby powder trick. I've been doing it every other day for years! I can't wait to try your flat bread recipe. For tuna salad, I love to add some grated Parmesan and garlic salt. Yum :)
