Dress: Target, Blazer: NY and Co., Shoes: Rocketdog, Belt and tank: F21, Necklace: Gift

Do you ever go shopping and come across this amazing deal on something you may or may not ever wear but the price is just wayyy too good to pass up? So that happened to me with this dress like years ago. I found it in Target for all of about $7 and the little precious was just practically begging to come home with me. I am butter in the hands of begging dresses. And I thought she would be perfect for a wedding. Well, several seasons of weddings have passed and not yet has this little dress been worn. So this morning as I hit the what-to-wear-to-work slump, I pulled her out of my closet and decided I would dress her as a professional and wear her to the office. And she was very happy with this idea.

So there you have it. Dressing down your fancy to wear as your everyday. And it would totally transition from work to a fancy dinner out just perfectly. {hint hint}

Love,

Ramsey

I am so a fan of wearing things you love regardless of the occassion. Dress up your tshirts, dress down your formal wear. Clothes are so fun :)

That dress was definitely something you couldn't pass on, that would've been a mistake, it's timelessly chic!

you look fantastic and so professional in this!

I am guilty of buying things that are on sale and having no idea what to wear with them or where to wear them...

Go figure that is how I came upon one of my favorite clothing pieces ever.

It looks great and much more expensive than what it actually cost :-) Oh I do that a lot, too, I just take something home because it's so pretty and cheap and than it sits in my closet for years. And then, one day, its big day has arrived and it turns into my new favorite. Weird, huh? ^^

Brilliant. You're such a smartypants. College is doing you good. hahaha.

Have you ever noticed that things at Target "beg" particularly well? I think it's a marketing ploy...

I LOVE that you paired it with that blazer. You make me miss having a NY & Co. close by. When I moved from the East to West, I had major withdrawal. I've not found one out here yet!

I just found your blog today, I LOVE this dress! I just found a guest post that you did on shopping in your own closet and it is SO dang true! When I have something to go to, why don't I just look in my closet for a new outfit rather than feeling like I have to go buy something? You're awesome, I am going to follow you blog, I am excited to read your posts... you are so cute! I just started my blog too about a month ago if you want to check it out http://rolledupprettyandcutoffthoughts.blogspot.com/ Have a great day!
