A whole new meaning to one of those days

Today was an oddball day of sorts. Do you ever have those days?

Case 1: I managed to put eye liner on this morning. Big accomplishment these days. I'm positive I put it on both eyes. Until I got to class and looked in the mirror at about 10:00. I suppose I was mistaken. Aaaand guess who didn't have her makeup bag.

Case 2: High school senior tours in the Spring. On campus. Are those not really the oddest things ever? I think it's the narrating tour guide leading a bug-eyed, souvenir-carrying group of kiddos and parents around. It somehow reminds me of a zoo. I can almost hear them whispering amongst themselves, "oh look! It's a real, live college student."

Case 3: Do you see the pasty in those pictures? I have no idea who that snow white chic is, or why she is wearing in my clothes and posing in pictures for my blog.

Case 4: Why are grocery store trips always the strangest late at night? Large, kraft envelopes, eye liner, and two tubs of ice cream. Righto.

Hope you had a jolly Tuesday!

Love,

Ramsey

my late night shopping trips used to always end in me buying potato salad... and some kind of candy... I bet all the cashiers who rang me up thought I was pregnant.

I always thought walking past tour groups was soo incredibly awkward! like I was in their way or something.

hahahahaha love the eyeliner story.

lol campus tours are awkward and they reminded me of how awkward I felt being on one as a hs student.

I can relate to case two, although I'm the kid that's whispering, "Look, a college student!" What can I say, you college "kids" sure are fascinating. :)

This is simply unacceptable Ramsey. You are not allowed to wear shorts and make me jealous until I can wear shorts, which won't be for a good month or so, so just stop taunting me!!

Your pictures always look so bright and colorful. I feel you with the grocery shopping. We used to shop late at night (because its less crowded, the city makes you plan for these things) and its very strange you get like the picked leftovers. Love the look of the cashier when you hand her bizarre things. I once went to the supermarket just to get a lemon. The cashier loved that one!

I'm having a $100 dollar Shopbop giftcard GIVEAWAY on my blog! Come check it out :) It's open to international bloggers as well.

I am pretty sure you are the only person I know (if you can count me looking at your blog as "knowing" you) who can pull of having a sweater tied around your waist. I love it.

Love your stripes! And I totally know what you mean about the college tours! The walking backwards already freaks me out, but if you stop and listen to them they really do sound like they think they are herding cattle or something.

P.S. A pasty chick made an appearance on my blog tonight, too! Must be an epidemic going around...

Such a cute post! I love your stories. Agreed upon the highschool kids going to the university as if it was a different planet with green people on it! Haha

And we have all those high school kid tours on our campus as well...a bit annoying to be stuck behind
a group when late to class! hah :) Plus, everything you wear is cute. Seriously.

That fist pic is too cute. I hate campus tours. There were middle schoolers at school last Friday. I saw some cuddling....Did I mention they were middle schoolers? ugh.

HAHA so true for #2. Last year, I was sitting and waiting for a class to start and a tour group came by, and I'm almost positive some parents started taking pictures of and observing me reading my textbook.

such a cute outfit. You look like you are ready for a boat tour!

BTW: You can stay this "white", you know, it's healthier for your skin ;) and you look a bit like snow white!!

Oh I know what you mean! Night grocery store runs are always so awkward! The other day I got pizza dough, pepperoni, milk, and Snickers ice-cream bars. The guy checking me out told me I should buy a cow {because I buy so much milk} uh... excuse me sir... since when are you concerned with how much milk I buy?? ahah! It was worth it though :)

hahah one friday night at school i picked up my friend john, drove him to a party, swung by walmart to buy some thattimeofthemonth supplies, and left with a huge box of tampons and a thing of sugar free ice cream sandwiches.

yeah, real subtle. the cashier totally knew what was going on.
