Kinda like J.Crew...but not

Shorts: F21, Blazer: Thrifted, Button-up: American Eagle, Scarf: Old Navy, Shoes: Payless

So I was looking through the spring clothes at J.Crew online and, well, isn't that how all things start? So anyway, there is this fantastic outfit that just sweeps me off my feet and I kinda go nuts over it and people are starting to stare, but it is just so perfect. You know the kind. Well, I just had to try and replicate the little beauty. With my very non-J.Crew wardrobe. So there you go.

I wish I had something more interesting to share with you than this sad little story about my outfit, but, alas, nada. Oh, well our muy grande plans for the evening include making soup and sammies for dinner and watching American Idol. Ok, see, nothing. Better luck for tomorrow guys.

Love,

Ramsey

Looks great! And very J.Crew.And the fact that nothing is actually from J.Crew just shows how creative you are!

I think it's an even better outfit because you made a non-J. Crew outfit look like J.Crew. :) Love these shorts! This is really incredible.

This is a great outfit!! I am a tad jealous you are already wearing cute shorts on a nice spring day. I am soooo looking forward to that.

It definitely seems straight out of a J.Crew photo to me!

i'll call this "kinda like jcrew but not as absurdly expensive". you look very cute. i get the jcrew catalogue every month and think "so cute, i should dress like this at work, but why are these pants $175?". your outfit is proof you can look adorable, polished, and fashionable without the jcrew budget.

Sounds like my Wed night: class, dinner, American Idol. Who is your favorite this season?? I am rooting for Scottie, Lauren, Pia, and James. Actually they are all good this year. And I am kinda obssesed with J.Lo now. She's so pretty and so nice. Ok- enough rambling on your blog!

Who needs real J. Crew when you can look just as fantastic in a non-J.Crew wardrobe!

I am trying to finf the one you were recreating! But I actually don't need it, you look so smashin' in this, no need to see the inspiration!
Nothin' better than an evening in front of the TV. How about a cooking post at some point :)?
