Back to School Red, White, and Blues

Hat: Abercrombie, Cardigan: F21, Flannel: American Eagle, Jeggings: Wal-Mart, Shoes: F21

Today was the first jolly old day back on the Florida State campus (go Noles by the way...Chick-fil-A bowl champs!), so naturally, I decided it would be fitting to take pictures at an old school building. I'm sure most people do that. Or maybe it's just me. I scored this flannel from my sister's give away pile...ching! I knew I wanted to wear this sweater and these shoes because they just look schoolish, at least to me. It worked out pretty sweet!
Since it was the first day back and all, Dusty and I decided to have breakfast at our favorite little waffle joint (Waffle House!!!). In case you have missed me proclaiming my undying love for this place, I'm mildly obsessed with our (yes our) homey little Casa de Waffles. There is nothing like a blueberry waffle to brighten your morning. Ok, well I take that back. Hitting the snooze button at 5:30 AM would have brightened my morning more. Or maybe not having my puppy dog stick his nose in my face at 4:30. But the waffle kind of made it all better. Kind of. And for what it didn't heal, Dusty offered a hug.
Just so you know, 6:00 is cold. No one should ever have to face the outdoors at such an awful hour. Ever. Ok, miss doom and gloom is going to take her pouty little butt and do a quickie reading for class. Oh the joys of college! But to be honest the first day wasn't that bad. And I do ping pong between two buildings all day which are flanked with Starbucks, so that kinda makes things a little better. Now if I could only do something about the parking.
Until tomorrow my lovelies!
Love,
Ramsey

Hey Ramsey doll!

Thank you so much for the comment on my blog. It made me blush a little because I really don't try to look or act or do anything model like. My hubby gets tired of seeing me just stand there so he gives me some creative direction! But thank you nonetheless for your kind words!

Come and visit me again soon and I will do the same and follow you.
Also, you look adorable in your pics. You're a pretty good model too! And I love the outfits!

hi blog friend. I've been meaning to email you a catch up email (about what you emailed me way back when we started our blogging friendship hA!) anyways, random question that has nothing to do with what i just said.... how do you curl your hair? seems like we have the same type hair (naturally curly, thick, course) I can't get mine to hold curls & can't figure out the wave... so teach me your ways.. do a blog post, message me on FB, email or whatever it takes to get those stylish locks on my head:)

and as always, the outfit rocks
