Sunday Funday

Sweater: American Eagle, Flannel: Old Navy, Jeans: JCrew, Belt: Thrifted, Boots: Hand-me-downs

Why can't every day be Sunday? It's probably my most favorite day of the week...and today was 'specially productive, so I feel good. And I would just like to point out to you that I broke a record today and didn't wear a thing from Forever 21. Just sayin', I just noticed this.
Today was cold. Florida cold. We actually had some sleetish stuff, though, (or so I hear, I didn't dare venture out) which I think certainly justifies the title of cold. Thus I stayed indoors 'till noon. In my jammies. Before you all go and judge me for vegging out all morning, I did manage to do a major purge in the closet. I feel so much cleaner now...seriously, I think the air just got easier to breathe in my room and my closet feels almost new now. And sparkly. And it gave me a right big hug for unraveling it from the massive injustice of overcrowding is has endured for the past...ohhh....6 months or so. You are welcome closet. Now spit me out some good outfits this week, k?
I also got all uber crafty and made...did you catch that? Let me just repeat in case you didn't...MADE a jewelry board for necklaces and such out of a picture frame-turned-chalkboard and command hooks. The commercials don't lie. those things are magic. This in itself pretty much made my day.
And to top it all off, we watched Dinner with Schmucks (ridiculous, but oh so hilarious) and had hot apple cider with my failure heart cookies. I tried to make press cookies with this new electric cookie gun I got for Christmas...hi-tech...but apparently I am a massive failure at cookie guns...they turned out looking like blobby hearts, or just blobs...guess that stuff takes practice, but Cuisinart is in no danger of me violating their "not for commercial use" policy any time soon. It was a good way to start the week.
Deep breath everybody, let the week begin!
Love,
Ramsey

Love the sweater! Never thought of combining pink tones with green ones. My closet does need a similar treat, guess it will have to wait though! :) x

Sounds like you had a nice, relaxing Sunday!

I love the combination of green and pink! Not only is it my two favorite colors but this combo makes me think of spring and sunny days, even though it's snowy here and apparently cold down there in Florida as well! (And I definitely get the 'Florida cold' thing. I used to live in Phoenix, AZ where 'cold' was anything below 70.)

And dang! I don't think I have one single outfit post where I'm not wearing something from F21. I'm a little obsessed.

Lovin' the green and pink. If its any consolation, I'm a decent baker, but the cookie gun pretty much owned me. Let's blame it on the stinkin' gun.

I think you just motivated me to clean out my own closet.. It's too jammed with all sort of too small/old/not-love-them-anymore clothes..
I love you style and the pics you post and your posing))

And thanks for you sweet comment of course))

I love this look! It's such a great outfit for a Sunday; fun, pretty, relaxed - everything that Sundays are. I've been all about cardigans lately and ignoring my sweaters but this pink sweater has inspired me to give them a second chance!

Adorable X a lot. I actually just found some awesome white cowboy boots (thrifted for $10, holler) that I haven't been sure how to wear. I'm not quite the rodeo queen type, you know? But this is just fantastic - casual, a little rustic. Perfection. =)

Also, I love your hair. It's women like you who make me wish I could grow my hair long without it looking like a matted, dry mess. Alas.

Well, I'm loving your blog! I'm so glad I found it (thanks for commenting on mine so I could return the favor!).

Gah! How did you make this look so good? I don't think I could pull of that sweater, much less with such a different print underneath.
I'm beginning to think you can make everything look good!
