Are We Tired of Boots Yet?

Sweater: American Eagle, Belt: Target, Flannel shirt: Old Navy, Skirt: Old Navy, Tights: Charolette Russe (I think), Leg warmers: F21, Boots: Madden Girl

I promise to abstain from boot wearing for the rest of the week. Or at least for today. Yeah, we'll go with that.
So, the weather warmed up by like a lot yesterday, and by the end of the day, I was regretting the layers. Just a bit. And the fact that Dusty told me it wouldn't be humid for most of the day, so I curled my hair. Then I walked outside. Result: See above.
I have a love hate relationship with tights. I know, pepper me with a marshmallow gun (because I'm obsessed with those and I really want one), I just said that about tights. I do love the fact that they keep me warm. And they're pretty. And they make shortish skirts slightly more appropriate. BUT the crotch slides down all day. You know what I'm talking about, I'm fighting to keep it above me knees. And they are itchy. Especially when you sit in a plastic desk for an hour, then get up and walk around and they start the itchy thing on your legs and butt. But you can't readjust or scratch because that would be highly inappropriate. So instead, you walk with your legs far apart as if you have a post stuck up your rear hoping they will readjust on their own and stop itching. Or maybe that's just me.
Lets have a round of applause...I'm not wearing pants. I jumped on the bandwagon after being a rebel Monday and wearing jeans, and I am commiting to wearing no pants for the rest of the week. You guys can be my conscience. If you'd like to check out some other pantsless ladies (minds out of the gutter kids), please check out Hayley at Cheap Girl in a Chic World.

If your real nice, maybe you can join in late. I think I have to go an extra day because I broke the rules on Monday.
It's Hump Day, and you know what that means....ok, well maybe you don't, but for us it means date night. Tonight looks like breakfast. Happy Hump Day guys! And I think yesterday was national hugging day. I don't think I hugged anyone yesterday, so lets just celebrate today!
Love (and hugs),
Ramsey

The colour of the sweater really made your eyes pop! A hug goes to you as too :) x

Boots are my favorite thing in winter. Probably because they are necessary when trudging through snow drifts! And yours are great! Totally agree about the tights thing though. Super annoying.

Remind me of elf "Oh I forgot to give you a hug!"

I love the layers, even if you were a little warm know that you were suffering because you looked good.

And I hear ya about the tights, the only thing I know of to fix that is buy high quality tights (We lover colors or HUE) because I have never had a problem with those. Target? Yes.

I'm not sick of boots at all. In fact, I can't seem to take them off. Very pretty outfit and great color palette on you.

I am definitely not tired of boots yet. They are simple the best : ) I hope you find some tights that is only a love relationship soon!

Ramsey! 1. Love your blog! 2. Put lotion on before putting your tights on! Decreases the itch and kind of holds them up.. If you're already doing this, forget I said anything!

I wear boots almost every day. I'm obsessed. haha And I totally want a marshmallow gun too! And on the leggings thing - I have the exact same problem. I feel like when you stand up, you have to pull them up secretly before standing so the crotch is not all the way down at your ankles... haha Love your outfit!

I might join in on the not wearing pants...sounds cute! :)

I like the boots, but I'm in SoCal, so I'm not stuck in them for as long as some of the colder states...

Hey cute thang! You seriously make me laugh. You come up with the most clever ways to beat you up. Such as stoning you with oreos and what the heck is peppering you with a marshmallow gun? Haha!! I love it. I hate tights too. I think they look funny on me. Anyhoo, hope you have a great day! Glad to see your back on the pants challenge!

No! We're not sick of boots yet! I wear boots just about everyday in the cold weather months! :)

So the tights... hmm... I've had that problem with a few pairs, but usually it's not a problem. Maybe they're not the right size? Too short?

People get tired of boots? I don't really want to know those people...

Love this!! The sweater brings out your eyes so nicely. And I love how you layered everything. You would be great in the 30 for 30 challenge!

I have a serious love love relationship with my tights collection. I wear them out until I can't wear 'em no more and have to force myself to buy new ones. Maybe a new brand or quality level is in order? A couple slightly more spendy pairs will last a LONG time and won't move around as much.

I'm sick of my old beat up boots if that counts :D I like that color on you! Like a seafoam or aquamarine or some other aquatically named color!

I was thinking, "I should sign up to follow because she is too cute and has great style." Haha, I'm already following. I'm catching up on Google reader.
