I think my subconscious is excited about Valentine's Day

Blazer: Ann Taylor Loft, Shirt: American Eagle, Skirt/Belt/Earrings: F21, Socks: Target, Shoes: Ann Marino

I'm feeling listy today. I think that's a nice way of labeling myself as random. Eight for day number 8. Clever, right?

1. I believe I have absentmindedly snuck in some red or pink into pretty much every outfit for the past week. I think my subconscious is feeling rather romantic lately.

2. Dusty told me it would be sunny today. I took that to mean warm. Note to future self: Self, sunny does not equate warm. My legs were freezing.

3. The freezing legs were doubly disappointing because I finally took the time to shave (It was getting scary). Now we are in prickle stage again. On second thought, I think it would have been warmer to not shave. Gross.

4. This morning I met Dusty for breakfast. We talked about jobs and health insurance and such. We felt very grown up discussing such issues. And all before 7:00 in the morning. I was quite impressed with myself

5. Waffle House is pretty much the happiest place ever. Apple Cinnamon waffles make 8 a.m. classes tremendously less despicable.
6. I wore a blazer today and it happens to be blazer day for Everybody Everywear. I'm thinking that my subconscious is working overtime. Which is good. Because my conscious is definitely slacking.
7. I've put it on my to-do list to make a to-do list for Spring. So far we have: get less pale, grow/buy fresh (when growing fails) vegetables, slide into my Sperry's and go on a picnik.
8. I got a thank you note today. For sending a girl in my class some notes. A real old fashioned thank you, handwritten and everything. It kinda made my day.
Love,
Ramsey

the school girl-ish-ness of this outfit is fabulous.

I make random lists all the time... that's how my mind works best.

I know my subconscious is feeling Valentine's day-ee because I have a crush on everyone and everything

Did your blog change? Like drastically? Or I am totally misremembering? Either way, I like the look of it.
Good work sub conscious for giving you the heads up on EBEW. You were right on time. And looking as fashionable as ever.

I love the belted blazer look! I tried to pull that off today but I think you did it better :) I am often fooled by the sun too, sometimes it really does look like it will be warm!

I love all the things going on in this outfit. The socks with the blazer is super cute, but not in a too-precious kind of way. Too bad they didn't protect you from the prickles. That's the worst!

I have that same baby Dooney and I love it. Don't you think it's surprisingly roomy?

OMG! I am coveting your shoes! Sooooo cute! And I too love receiving a handwritten note. It means they took the time.

Your adorable. I am totally loving your entire outfit. You are really rocking those socks, even with cold legs! A handwritten thank you, that would be enough to make you smile. It would be so nice to go back to some of the simpler things in life!!

You're not alone on the not shaving in the winter thing. No worries. haha! It's usually colder when it's sunny in the winter because it's clear. The clouds trap the heat. Seems backwards, but true. As always love the outfit. I looked for those shoes and couldn't find them, darn. Too late.
