Some Mondays are just more Mondayish than others. Today was one of those Mondayish days. First of all, it rained. The clouds have a habit of doing that quite a bit lately. And I had to go to work. It seems like we tend to do silly things like that on Monday. And I had/have to study. But that sorta happens everyday. I guess that's why they call it college. Or maybe not. Then we can add in the fact that Dusty has to work all week. Including date night, because Dusties sometimes do that. I suppose it has something to do with that money stuff that comes in handy from time to time. Which means no date night, only study night. And study time is far less good than playtime.
I wore this outfit to work today. I don't think the boss would have approved of the boots on a Monday. Friday, maybe. Because I suppose in some twisted way it would be logical for clothes to change their level of office appropriateness according to the days of the week. But the boss was not there today, so you know what they say, "when the cat's away, the mice will wear boots that their boss may or may not approve of." Or maybe they don't say that.

No offense Monday, but I'm kinda glad you only roll around once a week.
Love,
Ramsey

Ha ha I don't think my boss approves any of my outfits, They are so conservative and would prefer me in black trousers and suit every day but neh! not me! ... Love the way your eyes pop out with the blue of the umbrella, you are so pretty!

Ah! I love wearing black and brown together. I love how it looks. This was most certainly a VERY Monday-ish Monday. I wasn't a fan. It rained all day here too.

I heart this skirt, a lot. Combining the navy with the neutrals was perfect. If it wasn't 30for30 I would already be on F21 checking if the skirt was available for those of us up north.

Such a cute outfit!! Love the skirt. Your post reminds me of that Manic Monday song where they sing about how they "wish it were Sunday" which really makes no sense...wouldn't you wish for it to be Friday afternoon instead?

Hehe, so funny post! It's true, sometimes Mondays can be a B..., but hey, it's over soon. You definitly looked cute and the Umbrella gave your pictures a nice splash of color!

Lucky you the boss wasn't there, even though you could have told him that it's fashion, maybe he would have understood :) They should loosen up a little in the office!

Haha... so funny about wearing boots to work. I've also questioned their appropriateness. I work in an office, and I did wear them one day when it snowed, and no one said anything. I did get a few glances down at my feet. Jealousy, perhaps? That's what I'm sticking with. I also wear colored tights. It blows people's minnnnnds. Cute outfit!

Haha I always wonder what my office thinks of my outfits too! My boss is from Texas so he is kind of a fan of boots, but I don't know about everyone else. I love your skirt and sweater/cowl! Both gorgeous.

Hi Ramsey, I'm Haley aunt...thanks so much for guest posting for her. What great advice! She showed me your blog last week and I just loved your style. It really is classic and ageless - she's 15 - I'm 35 and we could both get inspiration from your photos. And thanks for giving the readers modest, yet super-stylish ideas! Great job.
