Guess what guys, it's almost Valentines! Or "Valentimes" as Dusty says because he is cute like that. We are total cheese heads when it comes to Valentines. I think we owe it to the timing of this glorious holiday. You see, Christmas is in December. And we go all goofy and excited over Christmas and get stockings and bookoodles of individually wrapped presents and we look at Christmas lights and generally just act like children for about a month. And then January comes around. And we feel guilty about all the goodies we ate. And we have to go back to work and school. And we have to worry about grown up things like finances because of school and such. And it's no longer crisp and Christmassy. Just cold. But then, February is here! And we have a new excuse to act all goofy and google eyed because it's Valentines! And then we are just so excited again and it carries us all the way through Spring. So in honor of this most wonderful month, we usually celebrate at least three or so days of Valentines. We are a bit excessive. {It's all in the little things, right?} So far, here is what I have given D everyday this week {I should get brownie points for this. Kidding. A little.}:Picnik collage

The whoopie pies are from today. I thought they would be adorable just like the picture showed. Turns out whoopie pies will whoop your baking little tush. There goes my dream of owning a bakery.

Happy Valentines to all you cheese-its out there!

Love,

Ramsey

Did you get the Whoopie Pies recipe from Bakerella? Because I had the worst experience with them, too! For some reason I think that because I watch cake shoes on Food Network and TLC that I am like the next Buddy Valastro. I was WAY off.

Gorgeous scarf!
Now, I want a whoopie pie. I've never even heard of it until a few weeks ago when Bobby Flay had a "Throwdown" with these great whoopie pie makers in Maine. I craved it then, and I forgot about it. Now, I want one again! :)
