I'm a bookworm

IMG_0280IMG_0277IMG_0282IMG_0290IMG_0292IMG_0293

Cardigan: NY and Co., Denim Button-up: JCPenny, Necklace: NY and Co., Belt: F21, Pants: F21, Shoes: Rocketdog
But only for boring books. Namely textbooks and academic journals. Fun fun. Thank you college.
So it's pretty impossible to conceptualize a 30 piece wardrobe that will prepare you for any weather possible when the high is in the 40's. If I had chosen Spring clothes it would have ended up freezing. So, your welcome North Florida. I jinxed the weather into being warm. You can thank me in accessories to help me through the rest of this 30.
Basically, I've been forced to narrow my 30 down by about half in order to avoid roasting in this sudden {and much appreciated} warm streak. I'm thinking a gold star for my dedication. So forgive me if my layering is nilch and I start wearing the same thing every day. I promise to launder it at least once a week. Maybe twice if people start complaining.
By the way, thanks a bajillion for the awesome response to the phone case recommendation! You guys rock! I think I'll start asking for recommendations more often. What's for dinner tonight guys?
Love,
Ramsey

Wow...in that second-to-last picture, you look a lot like a younger, brunette version of Laura Linney. I love the bold, red lipstick with this outfit. So pretty.

Cute outfit!! And I'm sure, despite only using half your 30's, you'll still look faaabulous! :)

Are you a bookworm outside of school? I am, but I remember hating when college took over my reading time! Instead of "good" books, I was stuck reading long, boring ones for the first two years that had nothing to do with my major!

You're such a pretty bookworm! :) Love the outfit, as usual!

really sweet outfit in a lovely location! You have the heat, I have the cold. You can never be sure to pick all the right clothes for the 30for30s! That's one learning point for me :)
Girl, until now, you have rocked your outfits, you will manage the last ones as well!

Loving your look. Your cardi is adorable but then again most things from New York & Company are!

Really cute pictures with the books...I need to start being more inventive in the picture department. Dinner: sweet potato, and steamed vegetables...tasty and healthy!

love your style!!amazing pics!!

Yeah I didn't expect it to get so warm during the 30 either. So much for my long-sleeved layering tees. We'll all wear the same couple of pieces and be that much more creative for it. Or something.

I love those trousers on you and the layered tops! You look utterly chic and put together.

Seriously, the weather is crazy. We live a little over an hour from Tally and it is at least 75 here...and muggy. Boo.

By the way, I love where you took these pics! It goes so well with your "bookish" outfit. Love.

I LOVE:
1. This outfit. Looks so easy, comfy, and cute.
2. The chair you're on! Please tell me it's not in your home, with that great vase/lamp and beautiful side table next to it . . . love it!
3. The look of that dust-cover-less book. So pretty!
4. The shoes. Great pumps!

Hi -thanks for stopping by my blog!

I like simply everything about your photo shoot! And I completely understand being forced to be a bookworm of boring things like textbooks :) There just isn't enough time in college to read fun stuff!

You have a fun sense of style . And now that I (finally) found a 30 for 30 girl with the same style/body type I'll DEFinitely be checking back to see what new outfits you come up with!
I hope your Wednesday is sunny :)

This post was a great first look : I love books, and the academic inspired styling happens to be my favorite.

I will definitely be back.
