Remember me? Well, no, you probably don't recognize me as my legs are as pasty as a loaf of Sunbeam. That's why I covered them in the Barney tights today. I'm thinking I should totally confiscate them from the sis because she never wears them. And they are so much happier on me. I dress them up with pretty shoes and take them out on the town. Let's not mention that I wore them with out shaving my legs because tights get sensitive about those sorts of things.
So, I made the mistake of going shopping today. Shoe shopping, specifically. I found the most perfect pair of Madden Girl heels. I heard harps playing the moment they were on my feet. And they loved my tights. And then I had to explain to them that I am on a shopping ban for 30 days. And they started to tear up, so, of course, I started crying too because they were just so sad. And the whole deal was just utterly depressing. But after a long hug, I placed them back in their box and promised that I would be back after my 30 is up and they felt marginally better.
And now I am watching the Superbowl. Actually, Dusty and Dad are watching the Superbowl and I am tuning in when the commercials come on. Backwards?
I can tell you who's playing. I think I have reached my highest accomplishment potential for the day. Nap time.
Love,
Ramsey

There's a game in between the commercials? I wondered what else happened when I wasn't watching.

This outfit is complete perfection. Those tights are great, the light jacket with the black skirt and heels, the necklace, everything. Awesome.

Those tights are awesome!! I'm so proud of you for waiting to buy the shoes. I bought a really awesome skirt at the Goodwill on Friday, I felt bad, but not bad enough to pass it up for $2. And you know I just couldn't go back and get it later. :)

If the shoes are meant to be, they'll be there after the 30 days are over. :)

I love the chambray with the tan blazer. I have a tan blazer from Banana Republic that often gets neglected because I'm not sure how to wear it.

By the way - today I posted a photo of a pose that was inspired by you! They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? ;)

Your barney tights are awesome! Only you could pull them off that well, Ramsey :)

I hope the shoes are still there for you when the 30x30 is over!

Major props for your shoe-resisting strength! Also, your tights are awesome.

P.S. What was your favorite commercial? I liked the Darth Vader and the Doritos "Grandpa?!" ones best.

I LOVE the superbowl commercials. That & yummy snacks are probably the only things that excite me about super bowl parties.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

I swear the no shopping" part of 30 for 30 is by far the hardestt! I wouldn't even be that sad that I wouldn't be able to wear the new stuff I bought... I just want to buy it!

PS You look smokin!

Psh. Who watches football games these days, anyway. My hubby was super-jock in high school/college, so I get about a month and half (1/2 of February and then March) of sports-less days between baseball season and football season. The rest of the time, I'm a sports widow. lol. To quote Elaine at ClothedMuch, "marry a nerd."

Sounds like my friends and I. We sat on the floor and played a trivia game and payed attention when the commercials came on. Football makes no sense to me...haha.

Love this outfit! I really wish I could find a cute denim button up like that, but none ever fit me. Love the blazer too. Great break away from the standard black.

Your too funny! Since the shopping ban I have been buying tons of stuff for our house; picture frames, lamps, valentine deorations. I just can't go without shopping. But I haven't bought any new clothes.
