Button Up: JCPenny, Sweater Vest: Belk, Jeggings: Wal-Mart, Belt: F21, Boots: Madden Girl, Socks: Target

I woke up this morning and I haven't the slightest clue where last night went because I definitely didn't spend six and 1/2 hours sleeping. And it was raining. Criminal to get out of a warm bed when it's raining. And then I realized how cold it was outside. Which made me really want to fly back to the warmness of my soft, cozy bed and my snuggly blankie. But I had an exam this morning at 8:00 am. {Who does that?} So I did the next best thing. I pulled on two pairs of wool socks and my warmest boots and coat and left the comfort of my bed behind. On second thought, the boots are probably not the next best thing. Sorry boots. I didn't even realize the jean on jean when I left the house. That just tells you how much of a dare devil I am. Living on the edge I tell you. Risky.

On another {random} note, don't you just hate it when you put off using the bathroom to the very last minute and you really, really have to go {Which for me is like every 30 minutes. I swear, I have the bladder of a squirrel.} and you walk in and there is this incredible line. And it's winter, so naturally, everyone takes three times longer to use the loo because there is the whole business of taking of their coat and blowing their nose and putting the coat back on and gathering their things in all of their cumbersome largeness because of said coat. And you are standing there dancing around with your legs crossed humming to yourself while the rest of the line stands there throwing you strange glances. Yeah, me too.

P.S.: I totally cracked my laptop screen today. And then I needed brownies so I whipped up a batch and dropped them all over the bottom of the oven. I guess that's fate's way of telling me I'm one brownie away from fat camp. And it was dark guys, so please excuse the lovely flash photography and my kitchen as a backdrop.
P.S. Again: if you guys have any advice on ordering a new screen, please do tell!

I was just going to ask you why/how you are so teensy... I guess brownies are the secret ; )

Your blog is one of the reasons I love blogs so much because I never would have thought a sweater vest could be so cute!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I LOVE that sweater vest! It's adorable.

Sorry to hear about the 8 AM exam, though. I had an exam today as well but thankfully it wasn't until 10 AM. However, after only 5 hours of sleep, even that felt early.

Love the socks peeking out from the boots!

I'm normally not a fan of vests but I really love this look on you! Sorry about your laptop & your brownies. That makes for a bad day :(

Oh, I'm so sorry about your day of mishaps. 8am tests on their own are bad enough. I dropped a cake as I was putting it in the oven once....I started crying. :)

OH that stinks. :( I am sorry about the screen. And depending on the laptop, you're better off just buying a completely new laptop. My mom's screen went bad and we just bought a whole new laptop because it was basically cheaper.
It probably isn't what you wanted to hear. :(

Oopsie! So sorry for your screen, unfortunately I have zero idea of a good one, I always get help from guys at best buy, they know better! ... Fat camp? no uh! You are so pretty and fit, don't worry about it!

OMG. How did you crack your screen? I also wait until the last minute to go to the bathroom. Haha

I totally love your poses! You make even indoor photos look cool. This didn't look like a quick outfit. It actually looks very together! Great vest...

When my cousin cracked her screen, the repair cost was too much, she was better off buying a new one. But at the time, she was saving up for something big so she did the next best thing--she bought a monitor and hooked her laptop up. Instant desktop. Hey, she needed the contents of her laptop... Prolly not that helpful haha!

Um, I need that sweater vest...seriously!

Omg, I cracked my laptop once. SUCKED. The easiest thing to do would be to order the EXACT screen off of ebay or the cheapest place you can find it and then have a local computer repair guy put it in for you (you might even be able to get a tech kid at your school to do it; its pretty easy). It cost WAY more to send it to a repair company and let them buy the part. And unless you have a good warranty, the manufacturer might not even replace it.

All that to say... cute vest! lol.

I second what the first commenter said: You look absolutely, downright adorable. It probably helps that you are friggin cute to start with. Good luck through the rest of the 30!

First- Fat Camp?? hahaha! Pretty sure one brownie isn't going to put you there. Especially since you are TINY!

Second- I'm having some SERIOUS vest envy.

and Third- Denim on Denim is totally in! It's ok as long as it doesn't match. So great pick! Especially the way you've paired it with the vest to break it up. Perfect. :)

Getting out of bed when it's raining is the hardest thing ever, I agree! I love your vest, too, I think it really works with the denim on denim.

You are hardly anywhere near fat camp! But I do want some brownies right now.

If you're going to do double denim, THIS is the way to do it. I love the socks with the boots and that vest is fantastic!

Sometimes I think I don't even HAVE a bladder, I have to go so often. It's stupid, really. Being this way normally and then when I was pregnant? Oh, forget it!
