I'm a prep

IMG_9528IMG_9532

IMG_9535IMG_9533

Dress: Brook's Brothers {Thrifted for $4!!!}, Sweater: Gap, Belt: Thrifted, Shoes: F21, Scarf: Old Navy, Earrings: Flirties

This outfit was most definitely destined to be worn to a country club for a fabulous brunch. Oh yes, it was perfectly meant to be paired with crepes and strawberries and champagne {or in my case, sparkling juice}. And then, perhaps, for a few holes of golf or a game of badminton. Unfortunately, nobody got the outfit's memo. And no one took it out for a fabulous brunch. Or a round of golf. Not even a measly strawberry.

Nope, this outfit took it's little self to work and sat in a very uncomfortable desk for what seemed like a very, very long time. Next time, little seersucker dress, we will at least make it to a picnic. Pinky promise.

Love,

Ramsey

I absolutely love that outfit. I'm sad you didn't get to wear it to a country club. Next time. :) I'm also super duper jealous of how springy it looks there! We got another dusting of snow. Not much. It'll be gone in a couple hours. But still...

I LOVE this outfit. The seersucker is just too sweet.

Also, I copied your outfit in "Yes I Did" (the outfit with the two skirts? Awesome one.) and blogged it in this post:

I just thought it was fair to let you know. : P

Ditto that this dress is a SWEET find! I have had "thrifting" on my to-do list for this month- it's one of the greatest times to check out the racks because everyone is spring cleaning.

I love this look on you! Super cute.

As a funny aside, seersucker has it's own special workplace tradition in DC -- on Thursdays in the summer, a whole group of Senators wears seersucker suits on the Senate floor. I'm not sure when it started, but it's awfully funny to see these serious people in these pastel suits...
