Nana Splits and Dead Batteries

Dress, Jacket, Belt: Gap, Shoes: Nine West, Bag: Vintage Gucci, Watch: c/o Mimi's, Lips: Revlon Certainly Red (Which amazingly lasts all day. And does not smell like old ladies.)

1. I had a banana split for the first time in fo-eva and it was legit amazing. Not to brag, but I think I'm going to name myself the master banana spliteur. I might even make a badge. And a hat. Why is it bananas taste so much better buried under a mound of ice cream, slathered in chocolate and caramel with a dollop of whipped cream and cherries on top?

2. My car battery died at school this week and I got stuck in the parking lot, waiting for someone to come and jump me off. Note to self (and by self, I mean Dusty), I need jumper cables. And a lesson on how to use them. I'm pretty sure it's incredible how I've managed to get this old without knowing anything about my car. If it goes, it must be ok is my motto. (Dusty, disregard that last sentence.) I smell some lessons coming up.

3. (Because if a lists must come in lengths of 3, 5, and 10 in my OCD mind.) This outfit was a product of my trying to dress a suit for mandatory suit day in a way that made it non-perfectly-boring. To me, a black suit is like a straight jacket. Unhappy, unnecessary, and without pizzaz. I had to add the hint of red to please my wild side. As previously stated, I have the "wild side" of an 80-year-old. Hott.

Love,

Ramsey

There is nothing worse to me than car troubles. I always feel like its an unecessary couple thousand bucks to fix... Of course I need to get places though, so I obviously don't have rational thinking in terms of cars. If you learn how to jump your car, maybe you should post a how-to, in a cute outfit, and all us bloggers will feel more equipped when our dreaded "dead battery" turn comes around.

LOVING the black, gray & red combo - it looks HAWT :) Sometimes I think the only way to eat fruit is when it's in dessert form - like baked in pie crust or topped with ice cream. And veggies are best fried or covered in cheese. My momma would be proud :)

The pop of red is the perfect way to dress it up but still keep it professional!

love love those reds shoes :)
And I am the same way about cars. Although, I guess I do know how to jump start a car....but that's only because my car battery died on me about a MILLION times when I was in high school...so eventually you just remember how to do it. :)

Great outfit! Definitely some good inspiration for me so I can look professional without the boring part. Hopefully the banana split made up for the car battery. Keep up the great blogging!
