Workin' 9-5

Blouse: gift/NY and Co., Blazer: gift/Ann Taylor Loft, Skirt: F21, Belt: hand me down from grandma, Tights: Shoe Station, Shoes: Shoe Station (Steve Madden I think)
Ok, well actually, 8-5, but that's not how the song (or movie) goes.
I had to get up yesterday to go to work. For a very long time. Normally this isn't bad because I actually like my job. But yesterday, it was raining. All. Day. Long. And everyone knows that rain calls for blankies, massive amounts of hot chocolate, a couch, and a stack of movies. Seriously, go check with your life manual under rainy days. I only love rainy days if I get to partake in the aforementioned activities. But as previously stated, I had to work. Fortunately, the rain took a break long enough for us to snap these pictures. This is not the most interesting outfit I've ever concocted, but I had to be super professional looking today, so colored/patterned tights were out. On a plus note, I got to wear the most awesome blouse EVER! I tried to get the detail to photograph, which is hard, because it's white. But it had rosettes all around the neckline and I'm pretty much completely head over heels about it!
Last night Dusty and I went on a date to Steak and Shake...basically the most awesome date place ever. I was a newbie to the Frisco Melt, but now I feel like we are best friends. It's pretty much the best grilled cheese sandwich you've ever eaten. With a hamburger patty. And special sauce. My mouth is watering right now as i sit in the library typing this. I think people are starting to stare. We, of course, had to tack on some milkshakes because you can't have S&S without the Shake. Mint-Cookies and Cream=awesomeness!!! And I love being able to dine somewhere without a crowd. Primarily because I tend to be excessively loud and silly when consuming good food and I hate to be a disturbance of the peace. We also took a little trip to Old Navy for some Dusty jeans and I got pretty much the best thing ever{which I will introduce you to later}. I also managed not to buy everything...which was tough, because I wanted to.
Alrighty, have an awesome day folks!
Love,
Ramsey

So I know I've told you that you're a total natural at posing, and you denied it, but I still think you are! You look SO great in these pictures! Seriously. I feel like I could see you in a catalog or something. Anyway, I love this outfit. Ruffles are my absolute favorite and I love how you added that red belt!

I've never been to a Steak and Shake, but what you ate sounds PHENOMENAL!! Ugh, so jealous. You do look so tailored and professional here, but the blouse really gives your look some punch! I agree about rainy weather, although I must say, for a rainy day, you had some great hair going on! Any secrets??

xo, Ashley

That blouse is so pretty! I thought it was just ruffly at first, but then I saw the flowers. It looks perfect with how you did your hair, all flowy like that. Love.this.outfit!

I have shoes that are EXTREMELY similar to these! I love them but seldom wear them :(. I even put them in my 30 for 30 and failed to show them off. Double :(. I really like the touch of red. Isn't it great when you can use hand-me-downs from Grandma?! I just scored a pair of Sperry Top Siders that I'm pretty sure are 100% vintage from mine! :)

Alright friend,
I am so excited that we're now bloggy buddies because I have that same exact blouse! And I'm so glad that by checking out your blog, I now know how to wear it haha! I paired mine with a cardigan and I love it. But I think it will be great paired with a blazer! Mine was gifted too, and I fell in love!
Hope you had a spectacular Thursday darling!
